Success is all Sophie Huang strives for in the five years she’s been the assistant to the CEO of a PR firm. She’s good at her job and hopes it’s something her boss notices enough to make her Account Director. But little does she know when she enters the coffee shop, she’s going to get catapulted into her own PR fiasco.

With his company doing better than ever, James eagerly signs off on a multi-million dollar deal. When the check from his wealthy client bounces, James finds himself with a knife in his back. Caught between a rock and a hard place, and with neither of them willing to end things before they can begin, James and Sophie agree to a Friends-With-Benefits arrangement.
